Ingredients

  • sour cream
  • cheddar cheese
  • frozen hash browns
  • cream of celery soup
  • onion
  • milk
  • vegetable oil
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Bread Choplets and fry in vegetable oil; set aside.
  2. Combine cream of celery soup, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Stir in frozen hash browns, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and 1 cup French fried onions.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  5. Arrange the fried Choplets on top of the potato mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and French fried onions.
  8. Bake uncovered for an additional 5 minutes until onions are browned.
