Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a large skillet or pot.
  2. Add the chopped onion to the browned hamburger and cook until softened.
  3. Drain off excess grease from the mixture.
  4. Add sliced carrots, sliced potatoes, tomato sauce, and one can of water to the pot.
  5. Simmer until the potatoes and carrots are tender, about 20-30 minutes.
