Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 2-3 tablespoons onion or vegetable soup mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the rice, water, soup mix, and salt; bring to a boil.
  2. Add the frozen mixed vegetables; return to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Cook until rice and vegetables are tender.
