Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 6 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 (15 oz) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 package mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Brown ground venison and chopped onion in oil. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add dried oregano and spaghetti sauce to the meat mixture. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Layer cooked noodles, cottage cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese in a baking pan.
  5. Repeat the layering process.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
