Tips & Substitutions

For a heartier soup, consider adding beans or lentils for extra protein and fiber. You can substitute the ground hamburger with turkey or chicken for a leaner option. If you prefer a thicker soup, add a tablespoon of tomato paste or diced potatoes. Feel free to swap the mixed vegetables for your favorites or seasonal veggies to enhance the flavor.

Serving Suggestions

Serve your Venous Soup with a side of crusty bread or a simple green salad for a complete meal. Grated Parmesan cheese on top can add extra flavor. This soup pairs beautifully with dishes like Lisa's Spaghetti Casserole for a comforting family dinner. Consider garnishing with fresh herbs like parsley for added freshness.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover Venous Soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To reheat, warm it on the stovetop over medium heat, adding a splash of water if needed to adjust the consistency. It can also be reheated in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring occasionally.
