Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish.
  2. Mix melted butter, maple syrup, lemon peel, salt, and lemon juice together.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered at 400°F for 50 to 60 minutes.
  5. Baste the chicken periodically during baking.
