Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Separate each onion wedge into individual chips and place them in ice water.
  2. Beat together the milk and egg until well combined.
  3. Remove the chips from the water and dip them into the flour, then into the egg mixture.
  4. Next, coat the chips in bread crumbs mixed with Cajun seasoning.
  5. Fry the coated chips in hot oil until they are golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
