Ingredients

  • 4 beets
  • 4 potatoes
  • 3 pickling cucumbers
  • 2 carrots
  • green peas (optional)
  • vegetable oil
  • mayonnaise (optional)
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil all vegetables except green peas until tender, then let them cool.
  2. Peel the cooled vegetables.
  3. Chop the beets, potatoes, cucumbers, and carrots into small pieces.
  4. Add green peas if desired.
  5. Season with vegetable oil or mayonnaise.
  6. Add salt to taste and mix well.
