Ingredients

  • 1 (8-serving size) package sugar free cherry flavor gelatin
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 cup diced peeled or unpeeled apple or pear
  • 2 small bananas sliced or diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery

Instructions

  1. Completely dissolve the gelatin and salt in boiling water.
  2. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 1/2 cups.
  3. Add the cold water and ice to the gelatin mixture, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice if necessary.
  4. Fold in the diced apples or pears, sliced bananas, and sliced celery.
  5. Spoon the mixture into individual dishes or a bowl.
  6. Chill until set, at least 1 hour.
