Walnut Patties

Instructions
- Toast bread and roll into crumbs. Cook onions until clear in small amount of butter.
- Combine all ingredients except mushroom soup.
- Form into thin patties; fry slowly in oil for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Place patties in 1 large or 2 medium size casseroles. Cover with slightly thinned mushroom soup and heat in a 350° oven for 20 minutes.
- Serves 12.
