Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup biscuit baking mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter or margarine
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry or light cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Blend milk, eggs, biscuit mix, sugar, almond extract, and softened butter in a blender for 15 seconds, or beat on high speed for 1 minute.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 10-inch pie pan or an 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
  4. Spoon cherry pie filling over the top of the batter.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
