Ingredients

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Stir the cake mix and cherry pie filling together until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add vanilla, vegetable oil, and chopped nuts; mix well.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the cake mix and pie filling, blending thoroughly.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
