Ingredients

  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 packages yeast
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  2. Add shortening, sugar, and salt to hot water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Stir in eggs and yeast mixture.
  4. Beat in flour until a soft dough forms.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and let it rise until ready to bake.
