Ingredients

  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/8 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with fingers.
  2. Add enough cold water to stick the mixture together.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth.
  4. Roll the dough thin and cut into squares.
  5. Prick each square with a fork.
  6. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350°F until brown and crisp, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Cool on a cake rack.
