Ingredients

  • 2 oz. roasted pine nuts
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 c. olive oil
  • 30 basil leaves
  • 1/2 c. spinach leaves
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 oz. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz. Romano cheese

Instructions

  1. Puree pine nuts and garlic with olive oil in a food processor.
  2. Add basil, spinach, and black pepper, then process on puree for 2 minutes.
  3. Add Parmesan and Romano cheeses, then puree for an additional minute.
  4. Serve over pasta.
