Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 2 c. warm tap water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 7 c. sifted flour
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix and knead all ingredients including yeast, water, sugar, salt, oil, and sifted flour until well combined and smooth.
  2. Oil the baking pans generously.
  3. Place the dough into the pans and let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 4 minutes.
  5. Note: Glass pans or dishes may take less time to bake.
  6. When finished, remove the bread from the oven and brush with butter.
