Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 large jar Ragu marinara sauce
  • 12 oz. sliced black olives
  • 1 lb. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions until flexible.
  2. Cool the noodles in cold water.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  4. Add chopped green bell pepper, Ragu marinara sauce, sliced black olives, and Ricotta cheese to the beef. Mix well.
  5. Ensure the sauce is not too thin.
  6. Begin layering: place 4 noodles in the baking dish, spread 1/4 cup of sauce over noodles, and arrange sliced hard-boiled eggs on top.
  7. Sprinkle with 1/3 of each type of cheese: Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, and Cheddar.
  8. Spread some of the cheese mixture over the layer.
  9. Repeat the layering process for the second and third layers, following the same steps.
  10. For the fourth layer, cover the noodles completely with sauce.
