Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can diced beets
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Drain the diced beets and place them in a 1-quart casserole.
  2. Mix the sugar, flour, and salt together in a bowl.
  3. Blend the dry ingredients with orange juice, lemon juice, and melted butter or margarine.
  4. Pour the mixture over the drained beets.
  5. Cover the casserole and bake until heated through and bubbly.
