Yogurt Yumsicles are a refreshing, healthy frozen treat perfect for hot days or snack time. Made with creamy yogurt, sweet fruit juice, and optional fruit and gelatin, they offer a delightful blend of tangy and sweet flavors. Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened fruit juice or thawed frozen concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ripe banana (optional)
  • 10 or 12 strawberries (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (optional)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup cold water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Puree the yogurt, fruit juice, vanilla, honey, and optional fruit and gelatin in a blender or food processor.
  2. If using gelatin, soften it in cold water, then heat slightly to dissolve, and blend into the yogurt mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into molds or small paper cups.
  4. Insert plastic spoons as handles when the yogurt is partially frozen to make Yumsicles.
