A quick and comforting chicken and rice dish with creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for busy weeknights and satisfying for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 to 3 cups Minute rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a frypan.
  2. Cut chicken into small bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add chicken, garlic, salt, and pepper to the pan and cook over medium heat until golden.
  4. Prepare rice while the chicken is cooking.
  5. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 2 minutes.
  6. Place desired amount of rice on a plate.
  7. Add 6 to 10 pieces of cooked chicken on top of the rice.
  8. Pour the mushroom sauce over the chicken and rice.
