Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or 2 sticks
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 2 teaspoons flour

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, cornmeal, and flour together.
  2. Mix well. Add vanilla and vinegar.
  3. Mix well again.
  4. Use an electric beater for about 1 to 2 minutes until well blended.
  5. Pour the mixture into unbaked pie shells.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes or until set, at 325° to 350°.
