Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast (2 Tbsp.)
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together.
  3. Add boiling water and salt to the mixture.
  4. Add the yeast mixture and stir well.
  5. Add 3 cups of flour and mix until combined.
  6. Add 3 more cups of flour; the dough will be moist and slightly sticky.
  7. Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size.
  8. Shape the dough into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
