Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter or oleo
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a mixer and beat for 20 minutes at high speed.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased tube or loaf pan.
  3. Place the pan into a cold oven and bake at 325°F for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
