3 Layer Orange Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 lb. orange slices (candy thin)
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix oleo, brown sugar and flour and press into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
  2. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
  3. Cover crust with orange slices (while hot).
  4. Mix eggs, flour, baking powder, coconut and nuts.
  5. Pour over orange slices and spread.
  6. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
  7. Cut into bars while warm.
