- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
- Mix sugar, salt, oil, and 1 1/2 cups warm water in a large bowl.
- Beat in yeast mixture and eggs.
- Add 2 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
- Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough; knead several times.
- Place the dough in a large greased bowl.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
- Punch down the dough; cover tightly and refrigerate.
- Use within 3 to 4 days.
