Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 6 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
  2. Mix sugar, salt, oil, and 1 1/2 cups warm water in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in yeast mixture and eggs.
  4. Add 2 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
  5. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough; knead several times.
  6. Place the dough in a large greased bowl.
  7. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Punch down the dough; cover tightly and refrigerate.
  9. Use within 3 to 4 days.
