Ingredients

  • 10 oz. vanilla wafers
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup 10x sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 quart strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Crush vanilla wafers and put them in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan.
  2. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the crushed wafers in the pan.
  4. Add sliced strawberries to form the third layer over the cream.
  5. Top the strawberry layer with Cool Whip or whipped topping.
  6. Sprinkle crushed wafers on top of the Cool Whip layer.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
