7 Layer Cookie Bars

Layers of crunchy graham cracker crumbs, sweet coconut, and melted chocolate and butterscotch chips create a rich, chewy treat perfect for parties, potlucks, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 6 oz. butterscotch chips
  • 1 small can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Mix melted butter with graham cracker crumbs.
  4. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan to form the first layer.
  5. Sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over the crust.
  6. Spread chocolate chips over the coconut layer.
  7. Add butterscotch chips on top of the chocolate layer.
  8. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over all layers.
  9. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
  10. Gently press down all layers with the back of a spatula.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  12. Allow to cool, then cut into squares and serve.
