Deluxe Bars are rich, caramel-flavored layered treats with coconut and graham crackers, perfect for those craving a sweet, satisfying dessert with crunchy and chewy textures.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham crackers, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Club soda crackers
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the brown sugar, milk, butter, and graham cracker crumbs together for 7 minutes; then remove from heat.
  2. Add coconut and vanilla to the mixture.
  3. Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with a layer of Club soda crackers.
  4. Spread half of the filling over the crackers, then add another layer of crackers.
  5. Add the remaining filling over the crackers.
  6. Cool the assembled layers in the refrigerator.
  7. Top with melted butter and chips.
  8. Cool overnight.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
