Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 5 Tbsp. cold 7-Up

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and shortening together in a bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, combine egg and 7-Up.
  3. Stir the egg and 7-Up mixture quickly into the flour mixture until the dough clings together and cleans the bowl.
  4. Work the dough into a smooth, flat round shape.
  5. Divide the dough in half to form two balls.
  6. Use each ball to line a 9-inch pie pan.
