Pam'S Lemon Bread

- Cream margarine with sugar.
- Add beaten eggs to the mixture.
- Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Add grated lemon rind to the batter and fold in.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix lemon juice and sugar to make a glaze.
- As soon as the bread is baked, drizzle the lemon glaze over the hot bread.
- Do not poke holes in the bread to allow the glaze to soak in.
