9 Layer "Iced" Salad
Ingredients
- 1 medium head lettuce, torn into pieces
- 1 small can ripe olives, pitted ⓘ
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced and peeled ⓘ
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 3/4 c. celery, diagonally sliced thinly ⓘ
- 3/4 c. red/yellow bell pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1 c. carrots, thinly sliced ⓘ
- 1 pkg. frozen English peas ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken/ham
- 3/4 c. mild Cheddar cheese, grated ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream ⓘ
- 1/2 pkg. Ranch dressing mix ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix lettuce and olives as first layer.
- Layer next 8 ingredients, beginning with cucumbers and ending with cheese.
- "Ice" salad with mixture of sour cream and dressing mix. Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
- Garnish with bacon bits.
