  • 2 1/4 cups ketchup
  • 2 1/4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons instant beef broth
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 shakes Tabasco sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
