Ingredients

  • 2 small packages Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can Ranch style beans
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cornbread mix in a tiara pan according to the directions on the package.
  2. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion together in a skillet.
  3. Add the Ranch style beans, taco seasoning, and enough water to combine all ingredients; cook for about 20 minutes.
  4. Unmold the cooked cornbread and spread the chili mixture in the center of the upside-down cornbread.
  5. Cover with shredded Cheddar cheese and bake at 375°F for 20 to 30 minutes until the cheese melts.
  6. Serve sliced like pie, topping with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, picante sauce, or other desired toppings.
