Ingredients

  • 3 pt. green tomatoes, ground
  • 3 pt. red tomatoes, ground
  • 3 pt. chopped onions
  • 2 bunches celery and leaves, chopped
  • 3 red peppers, ground
  • 1 pt. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 qt. sugar
  • 1/2 c. white mustard seed
  • 1/4 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix ground green tomatoes, ground red tomatoes, chopped onions, chopped celery and leaves, and ground red peppers in a large pot.
  2. Add vinegar, cinnamon, ground cloves, sugar, white mustard seed, and salt to the mixture.
  3. Cook the mixture for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
