Aka'S Fish Cakes
Ingredients
- 800g Hake fillets ⓘ
- 2 medium potatoes (peeled, boiled & mashed)
- 2 eggs ⓘ
- Half bunch dhania (coriander) ( chopped fine) ⓘ
- 1 Tablespoon chopped mint ⓘ
- 2 Tablespoons crushed green chillies
- 2 medium onions (chopped fine) ⓘ
- half tsp mix dried herb ⓘ
- half tsp jeera powder ⓘ
- half tsp dhania powder (coriander)
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- Salt ⓘ
Instructions
- 1. Remove skin from hake, boil for 30 minutes, cool and flake the fish.
- 2. Add all ingredients except eggs & bread crumbs to the fish & mix all together.
- 3. Beat eggs and add to the mixture, do not over mix as the mixture will become too soft to handle.
- 4. Make into patties, dip in bread crumbs.
- 5. Fry in medium oil until golden brown.
