Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 (12 oz.) box fettuccine pasta
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, and black pepper; simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until thickened.
  3. While the sauce simmers, bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
  4. Stir the grated Parmesan cheese into the Alfredo sauce.
  5. Drain the cooked pasta and serve topped with the Alfredo sauce.
