Ingredients

  • 4 cups peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup peach syrup
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Put peach slices in a square casserole dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, work together the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and margarine until crumbly.
  4. Add the lemon rind and mix.
  5. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the top of the peaches.
  6. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven until the peaches are tender and the top is browned, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
