Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole blanched almonds
  • 1 teaspoon butter or margarine
  • 1 pound white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Put almonds and butter in a 9-inch microwave-proof pie plate.
  2. Cook on high (max power) for 4-5½ minutes, or until toasted, stirring twice during cooking.
  3. Set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Put white chocolate in a large microwave-proof mixing bowl.
  5. Cook on high (max power) for 2½-3 minutes, or until softened.
  6. Stir until smooth.
  7. Stir in toasted almonds.
  8. Pour mixture onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets.
  9. Spread to desired thickness.
  10. Refrigerate until set.
