Almond Nut Crackers

Sweet and crunchy almond nut crackers feature caramelized sugar and toasted almonds on crispy crackers, perfect as a sweet snack or party treat for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 42 club crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  3. Add sugar and boil for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes to caramelize.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add vanilla and immediately pour over the crackers on the prepared cookie sheet.
  6. Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove immediately from oven.
  9. Place on a cooling rack.
