Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sweet cream butter
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  3. Beat at low speed, scraping the bowl often, until particles are fine, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool before cutting into bars.
