Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. Jell-O vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
  • 4 eggs or Egg Beaters
  • 1 c. dark rum (80 proof)
  • 1/2 c. oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the bottom of the pan.
  3. Mix all cake ingredients together: yellow cake mix, vanilla instant pudding, eggs or Egg Beaters, dark rum, and oil.
  4. Pour the batter over the nuts in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 1 hour.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan.
  7. Invert the cake onto a serving plate.
  8. When completely cooled, sprinkle the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
  9. Enjoy!
