Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 loaves frozen bread dough (white, wheat or Italian)
  • 8 to 12 oz. can or jar spaghetti sauce
  • fresh vegetables (onion, green pepper, mushrooms)
  • pepperoni
  • 2 to 4 cups shredded Mozzarella and/or Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Defrost the bread dough and allow it to rise according to the package directions.
  2. Use one loaf for a thinner crust or two loaves for a thicker crust.
  3. Knead and roll out the dough to fit your pizza pan.
  4. Lightly brush a small amount of olive oil on the bottom of the pan.
  5. Spread spaghetti sauce over the dough.
  6. Add vegetables and meat toppings such as onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and pepperoni.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the toppings.
  8. Add any additional ingredients if desired and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 40 minutes.
  10. Let the pizza stand for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
