Ingredients

  • 9 medium onions, halved crosswise
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix paprika, catsup, butter, honey, and brown sugar in a saucepan and heat until the sugar and butter are dissolved.
  3. Place the halved onions in a baking dish and pour the sauce mixture over them.
  4. Cover the dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove the cover and bake for an additional 30 minutes until onions are tender and caramelized.
