Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. bacon
  • 1/2 large green pepper
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 2 cans tomatoes (24 oz. and 16 oz.)
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms
  • 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. thin spaghetti noodles

Instructions

  1. Saute bacon, green pepper, onion, and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add tomatoes (break up) and combine with the beef mixture.
  4. Mix the sauce with cooked spaghetti noodles.
  5. Pour into a large baking dish and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Top with cheese, if desired, before serving.
