Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 envelope Lipton beefy-onion soup
  • 2 or 3 onions
  • 4 to 6 medium or large potatoes
  • 1 lb. frozen mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Use a heavy saucepan large enough to hold all ingredients.
  2. Brown the ground beef in the pan over medium heat.
  3. Drain excess fat from the beef.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine the Lipton beefy-onion soup envelope with one cup of hot water and heat until dissolved.
  5. Add the prepared beefy-onion soup mixture to the browned beef.
  6. Stir in the can of tomato soup.
  7. Peel and dice the potatoes and onions to your desired size.
  8. Add the diced potatoes, onions, and frozen mixed vegetables to the saucepan.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the flavors meld, about 30 minutes.
