Ingredients

  • 4 slices fresh bread
  • butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Remove crusts from bread and butter generously on one side.
  2. Place the buttered side down in cupcake pans to form nests.
  3. Drop an uncooked egg into each bread nest.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°F until eggs are cooked and bread is golden.
  5. Serve with bacon or sausage.
