Creamy, chocolate and butterscotch-topped graham crackers baked to a crispy finish, then chilled and sliced into squares—perfect for sweet snacking or sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

  • graham crackers
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 6 oz. chocolate morsels
  • 6 oz. butterscotch morsels

Instructions

  1. Spray a cookie sheet with Pam or non-stick spray.
  2. Lay graham crackers evenly on the prepared pan.
  3. In a saucepan, boil brown sugar with margarine for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the graham crackers, spreading evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate morsels and butterscotch morsels over the top.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate and butterscotch evenly over the surface.
  8. Place the pan in the refrigerator for 3 minutes to set.
  9. Score the entire surface into squares while still cool.
  10. Return to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from refrigerator and cut into squares to serve.
