Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground venison
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 16 oz mashed hot chili beans
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 oz jalapeno pepper
  • 1/2 lb grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Saute minced onion until translucent.
  2. Brown ground venison in the skillet.
  3. Mix all ingredients including cooked onion, venison, mashed chili beans, chili powder, ketchup, salt, cayenne, jalapenos, and cheese.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour into a casserole dish and top with grated Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F until the cheese melts and is bubbly.
