Ingredients

  • 1 qt. green beans
  • 1 qt. carrots
  • 1 qt. cauliflower
  • 1 qt. celery
  • 1 qt. cucumbers
  • 1 qt. green peppers
  • 1 qt. green tomatoes
  • 1 qt. red tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place each vegetable in separate bowls or pans.
  3. Salt the vegetables and let stand for 5 hours.
  4. Cook the vegetables separately in boiling water until half tender.
