- In large bowl, combine whole wheat and all-purpose flours, bran, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; stir in dates.
- In another bowl, beat egg with sugar and oil; stir in milk and apple. Pour into flour mixture and stir just enough to moisten, being careful not to overmix.
